Gentell was founded in the United States in 1994. What sets the company apart is its manufacturing model: it runs the process from raw material to finished product in its own facilities and operates production sites in Brazil, Canada, China, New Zealand, Paraguay and the United Kingdom.
This structure makes it possible to offer a broad wound care portfolio from a single source. The portfolio consists of alginate, foam, hydrogel, collagen and superabsorbent dressings, covering different phases of wound healing and different exudate levels.
ManukaMed, the New Zealand manufacturer of medical-grade manuka honey, is also part of Gentell.
